Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. in California is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to help lead one of the busiest teams in our store, ensure excellent customer service, and drive deli operations with a focus on quality and efficiency.

You will assist in scheduling, training, ordering, safety compliance, and coordination of production, merchandising, and sales to deliver great products and a positive shopping experience.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years old with preferred 2 years supervisory experience in deli or related food service.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to lead a team.
• Outgoing, friendly, customer-focused demeanor and ability to handle special orders and phones.
• Proven leadership to build, motivate and maintain staff with knowledge of reports and sales goals.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Food Safety certification required; comply with all safety and sanitation regulations.
• Strong organization and planning skills; multi-tasking capability.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Lead a team to deliver high quality products and exceptional customer service.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training and developing the Deli team.
• Unload and sort store deliveries, operate and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation guidelines/regulations.
