Job summary

The GIANT Company in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking a dedicated deli supervisor to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure quality and safety across the deli, carryout, café, and cheese sections. You will lead shifts, train teammates, and uphold company standards in a fast-paced grocery environment.

You will handle scheduling, stock rotation, pricing updates, and adherence to SOPs while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining loss prevention measures.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must complete a food safety certification every 5 years
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements
• Must meet the company performance standards including regular attendance
• Must be able to use or learn the equipment used for this job

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule and prepare for duties at shift start.
• Perform markdowns and track loss.
• Operate the deli, carryout, café, and cheese areas per SOP.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, equipment, and displays.
• Make and label sandwiches, wraps, and pizzas per SOP and SOP packaging.
• Assist customers, cut meat/cheese, portion deli items, weigh and label items.
• Prepare and stock products in department cases.
• Track and record loss using known loss tracking (KLT).
• Record temperature charts, sanitation logs, and production planning.
