Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager in California to help lead one of the busiest store teams while ensuring excellent customer service and healthy meal choices. You will support the Deli Manager with merchandising, production, and staff development in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have supervisory deli experience, strong communication, and a proven ability to manage inventory and food safety standards while delivering a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with prior supervisory experience in a deli or related food service.
• Demonstrate dependable, flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Deli team.
