Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to manage deli and food service daily operations with an emphasis on sanitation, guest service and accurate cash handling. The role requires lifting up to 25 pounds, standing for long periods, and working flexible shifts.

You will process transactions, stock deli items, prepare meals, and ensure pricing and signage are correct while maintaining a clean work area. Training is provided and advancement opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must have 2 years foodservice or retail management.
• Serv-safe certification preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and an active driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions and handle refunds accurately.
• Learn and use register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Prepare, wrap, weigh, slice and stock deli/food service items.
• Cook deli items and prepare on-site salads, sandwiches and hot beverages.
• Maintain clean, organized check stands and work areas.
• Take guest orders and ensure on-time completion to guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager.
