Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to manage the deli and food service daily operations, ensuring sanitation, presentation, and guest service. The role includes processing transactions, operating a register and scales, preparing and stocking deli items, and maintaining a clean work area following safety guidelines.

Flexibility to work weekends/holidays; must be at least 16; Serv-Safe preferred; ability to lift up to 25 pounds; prior foodservice or retail experience

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Must have 2 years foodservice or retail management.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions, giving back change and refunds.
• Learn to use register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Read UPC codes, product labels, shelf signage, register forms, and posted company policies/procedures.
• Prepare, wrap, weigh, slice, and stock deli/food service products.
• The preparation and cooking of deli items including sandwiches, fried items, salads, and beverages.
• Take guest orders, ensuring orders are completed on time and to guest satisfaction.
• Keep a clean, neat check stand and production areas.
