Job summary

Global Partners LP seeks a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to manage daily deli and food service operations, ensuring sanitation, clean displays, and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include cash handling, using registers and scales, preparing deli items, and maintaining product quality and safety.

Applicants should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Experience handling cash and giving change.
• Ability to assist guests and respond to questions.
• Adherence to sanitation and safety standards.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a retail kitchen environment.
• Effective communication with teammates and customers.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions, giving back change and refunds.
• Learn to use register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Learn to use UPC codes, store signage, and memorize register keys/codes.
• Read UPC codes, product labels, shelf signage, and posted policies/procedures.
• Prepare, wrap, weigh, slice, and stock deli/food service items for hot and cold cases.
• Maintain clean, organized check stand and production areas.
• Display products following deli guidelines and assist guests with orders.
