Job summary

Global Partners LP is hiring a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to manage the deli and food service daily operations, ensuring sanitation, appearance, and guest service. Responsibilities include cash handling, using registers and scales, and preparing deli items for hot and cold cases.

The role requires lifting up to 25 pounds, ability to work weekends/holidays, and may involve rotation through various deli tasks.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
• Must have 2 years foodservice or retail management.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Work in walk-in coolers and freezers.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions, giving back change and refunds.
• Learn to use register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Prepare, wrap, weigh, slice, and stock deli/food service products.
• Display products following deli guidelines and merchandising standards.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely completion and guest satisfaction.
