Job summary

The GIANT Company in Gettysburg, PA is seeking a deli department supervisor. You will enter orders, schedule work and production, supervise and train team members, receive, store, and stock items, check dates, and adjust pricing as needed.

You will also prepare and stock products across deli, carryout, café, and cheese sections, assist customers, and maintain a clean, safe working environment per SOP. This role requires strong attention to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must complete a food safety certification every 5 years, and teach new team members importance.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule and prep required PPE at shift start.
• Perform markdowns and track loss.
• Prepare deli, carryout, café, and cheese tasks per SOP.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, tools, display cases, floors and counters.
• Make sandwiches, pizzas, and label items for the display case.
• Assist customers and portion out deli items.
• Track and record loss using KLT.
• Plan weekly Circular ad.
