The GIANT Company is hiring for a deli/department supervisor position at our Mount Joy location. You will enter orders, schedule work, supervise and train team members, stock items, and ensure proper dating, pricing, and display.

You will also support cheese, meat and grab-and-go sections and assist customers as needed. This role requires strong leadership, adherence to food safety protocols, and the ability to manage daily operations in a fast-paced retail environment while upholding company

Qualifikationen

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must complete a food safety certification every 5 years
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the role

Aufgaben

• Review work schedule at shift start and prepare PPE and supplies.
• Perform markdowns and track loss.
• Lead deli, carryout, café, and cheese tasks and train team members.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, equipment, displays, floors and counters.
• Prepare and display sandwiches, pizzas, and deli items following SOPs.
• Serve customers, weigh and label deli products, and portion for containers.
• Stock, rotate, and organize department cooler and freezer areas.
• Plan weekly circular ad and coordinate product placement.
