Responsibilities

• Assist in daily deli operations including food prep, service and sales.
• Support Deli Manager in staff scheduling and labor cost management.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, receiving and stocking to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed.
• Lead, train and develop deli staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Develop merchandising strategies to increase department sales.
• Monitor and improve department profitability (P&L).
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
