Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Serv-Safe or similar certification.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in chain retail deli food service or restaurant management.
• Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• General knowledge of inventory management principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily deli operations, including food preparation, service and sales.
• Support Deli Manager in staff scheduling and labor cost control.
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, receiving and stocking to minimize waste.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Operate and maintain deli equipment safely.
• Assist in hiring and training deli staff; develop a teamwork culture.
• Coach team members to improve performance and customer service.
