Job summary

Cosentino's Price chopper #415 in Platte City, MO is hiring a Senior Assistant Deli Manager. You will support the Deli Manager in daily deli operations, lead a team, manage inventory, and ensure food safety and customer service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

The role reports to the Deli Manager and requires strong leadership, communication, and Loval knowledge of deli fundamentals. On-site position with full-time hours and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in chain retail deli food service or restaurant management.
• Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily deli operations including food prep, service and sales.
• Support Deli Manager in staff scheduling and labor cost control.
• Oversee inventory management to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed.
• Lead and train deli staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Develop and implement merchandising to increase sales.
• Monitor and improve department profitability and P&L performance.
