Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/ Deli Lead to direct all activities in the deli and food service department, oversee staff, and meet merchandising, sales and guest service goals.

Responsibilities include hiring and coaching new team members, scheduling, ensuring food safety, preparing and serving deli items, handling cash, and ensuring accurate pricing and records. Flexibility to work weekends/evenings and lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2 years prior experience in a fresh food's environment preferably in managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel, meeting department's goals and objectives, communicating with store management and department supervisors.
• Selecting, onboarding and coaching all new team members.
• Scheduling all team members.
• Offer product information, provide selling suggestions and active sampling and always giving a genuine thank you.
• Take guest orders and ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure department personnel follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Oversee deli/food service prep and merchandising, including breakfast, lunch, dinner entrees and snacks.
• Ensure pricing, signage and shelf tags are correct.
