Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/Deli Lead to direct all activities in the deli and food service department. You will supervise personnel, schedule shifts, coach new team members, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold food safety standards across breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years of fresh foods exp, and flexibility for weekends/holidays. Serv-Safe certification is preferred; lifting up to 25 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 18 years old.
• 2 years experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a managerial role.
• Reliable transportation and an active driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and evenings; may travel to other locations.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Stand for long periods and work in walk-in coolers/freezers.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel to meet goals and communicate with store management.
• On-board and coach new team members.
• Schedule all team members.
• Provide product information, selling suggestions, and active sampling.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely completion to guest satisfaction.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Receive merchandise, audit invoices, and maintain stock levels.
• Oversee deli/food service item preparation and display following guidelines.
• Rotate products ensuring quality and shrink control.
• Process cash register transactions and handle payments.
