Job summary

Global Partners LP seeks a Food Service Supervisor/Deli Lead to direct the deli and food service team, ensuring guest satisfaction, timely orders, and adherence to food safety guidelines. You will supervise staff, onboard new members, schedule shifts, train on product information, and manage inventory and merchandising.

The role requires 2 years in fresh foods, ServSafe preferred, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds; weekend/evening work may be required. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• 2 years prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a managerial role.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in walk-in coolers/freezers.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel and meet department goals, communicating with store management.
• On-board and coach new team members; schedule all team members.
• Provide product information, selling suggestions and sampling; assist guests.
• Oversee deli/food service prep, merchandising and adherence to safety policies.
• Manage invoices, inventory and cash register transactions, including pricing and signage.
