Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/ Deli Lead to direct the deli and food service department, manage personnel, and ensure guest satisfaction. The role involves coaching, scheduling, controlling quality, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced store environment.

The position requires 2 years in fresh foods, high school diploma, and may prefer Serv-Safe certification. Weekend availability and lifting up to 25 pounds are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2 years prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably managerial.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel to meet goals and communicate with store management.
• On-board and coach new team members; schedule staff.
• Take guest orders and ensure satisfaction; provide selling suggestions and sampling.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Order products and supplies to maintain stock and merchandising standards.
• Oversee deli/food service prep and display across items.
• Rotate items for quality and shrink control; manage pricing and signage.
• Process cash transactions and handle register operations.
• Maintain clean, organized counters, prep areas, and coolers.
