Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/Deli Lead to direct and supervise all activities in the deli and food service department, ensuring merchandising, sales and guest service goals are met. The role includes onboarding and coaching new staff, scheduling, and providing product information to guests.

The position requires 2 years in fresh foods in a managerial capacity, ability to lift 25 pounds, and Serv-Safe certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2 years prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a managerial role.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel and meet department goals.
• On-board, coach and schedule all new team members.
• Provide product information, selling suggestions, and active sampling.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely completion to guest satisfaction.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation guidelines and manage inventories.
