Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/Deli Lead to direct the deli and food service department. You will supervise staff, train new team members, schedule shifts, provide product information, and ensure guest satisfaction through accurate orders and timely service.

Adherence to safety guidelines and inventory management are essential. The role requires experience in a fresh foods environment, weekend/evening flexibility, and knowledge of food safety practices.

Qualifications

• 2 years prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a managerial role.
• Must be able to work weekends/holidays/evenings as needed.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel to meet goals and objectives; communicate with store management and supervisors.
• On-board and coach new team members; schedule all team members.
• Take guest orders and ensure on-time completion to guest satisfaction.
• Ensure department follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines and policies.
• Order products and supplies to maintain stock and merchandising levels.
• Oversee prep, serving, and merchandising of deli/food service items.
• Rotate deli/food service items to maintain quality and reduce shrink.
• Process cash register transactions accurately; manage pricing and weights.
