Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Fresh Foods Supervisor to direct the deli/food service department and its staff to meet merchandising, sales and customer service goals. The candidate should have at least 2 years in food service management and a true love for food and serving customers.

Responsibilities include onboarding and coaching new team members, scheduling, ensuring sanitation and safety standards, managing inventory and pricing, and maintaining appealing deli displays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in food service management.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel to meet goals and communicate with management.
• On-board and coach new team members; schedule staff.
• Engage with customers and provide product information and samples.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation and compliance with policies.
• Oversee inventory, pricing, signage and display of deli items.
• Prepare, portion and present deli items; rotate stock and control shrink.
• Handle cash transactions and paperwork accurately.
