Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/ Deli Lead to direct all activities in the deli and food service department, oversee staff, and ensure merchandising, sales and guest service goals are met. The role involves coaching, scheduling, inventory checks, and maintaining food safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years in a fresh foods environment, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while delivering excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• 2 years prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a managerial role.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Work in walk-in coolers and freezers.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel, aligning with store management and department supervisors.
• Select on-board and coach new team members; schedule all team members.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely, satisfactory fulfillment.
• Supervise preparation and merchandising of deli/food service items.
• Oversee inventory, invoices, returns, pricing, signage and shelf tags.
• Process cash transactions and handle refunds; operate scale/printer for pricing.
