Job summary

ShopRite of West Milford is seeking an Appy/Deli Manager to direct the department and its associates, driving sales, service, and safety. You will coach staff, enforce standards, and ensure cold-chain and sanitation procedures are followed to protect customers and employees.

The role requires strong leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to ShopRite’s service priorities, with day-to-day supervision of deli operations and guest experience in a fast-paced store.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Able to stand/walk for full shift.
• Able to perform basic computer functions.
• Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Able to interact with customers in a friendly way.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Appy/Deli department and staff to meet goals.
• Aim for department sales, profit, and customer experience targets.
• Ensure safety, freshness, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead onboarding and training of new department associates.
• Maintain cleanliness, proper stocking, and efficient operations.
