Job summary

ShopRite of Franklin in Franklin, NJ is seeking an Appy/Deli Manager to lead the Appy/Deli Department. You will supervise daily operations, drive sales, maintain food safety, and ensure a superior Customer Experience under the direction of the General Store Manager.

Responsibilities include coordinating staffing, training Associates, enforcing safety policies, and presenting products effectively while upholding ShopRite service priorities of Safety, Friendliness, Presentation, and Efficiency.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak, analyze, interpret and understand English.
• Stand/walk for the duration of a shift and perform basic math.
• Lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally; work with varied temperatures.
• Lead and train associates; ensure safety and compliance in all tasks.
• Proficient with basic computer functions and hospitality-focused to customers.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions and activities of the Appy/Deli Department and its Associates to achieve the Department’s goals under the General Store Manager.
• Uphold ShopRite service priorities: Safety, Friendliness, Presentation, and Efficiency.
• Greet customers, promote promotions, train new associates, and maintain department standards.
• Ensure product display, pricing accuracy, and compliance with safety regulations.
