Job summary

ShopRite of West Long Branch, NJ, is seeking an Appy/Deli Manager to direct the Appy/Deli Department and its associates. You will drive sales, profitability, and customer experience under the General Store Manager’s direction.

Responsibilities include leading staff, training, and enforcing safety and presentation standards while delivering friendly service and efficient department operations. This role requires strong leadership and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Basic math skills for everyday calculations.
• Ability to stand or walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Work with fresh, frozen, and processed foods in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all Appy/Deli operations and staff to meet department goals.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance in the department.
• Lead associates, provide training, feedback, and performance coaching.
• Ensure excellent customer experience and presentation of products.
