Job summary

Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, controlling expenses, and utilizing store systems to meet budget goals. The role requires a high school diploma and Food Safety Manager accreditation or the ability to obtain it within 90 days.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager.
• Manage labor and coaching of associates to meet productivity goals.
• Provide leadership and promote a culture aligned with Food Lion values.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure fast, friendly customer service and a positive shopping experience.
• Model outstanding customer service and utilize product knowledge to meet customer needs.
• Control expenses through proper ordering and care for supplies.
• Use company tools and systems (ACIS, scheduling, reports) for store operations.
• Maintain department appearance, food safety and sanitation standards.
• Develop deli schedules to ensure extraordinary service.
• Ensure compliance with policies, guidelines and regulations.
• Maintain security and personal appearance standards.
• Complete CBT and training modules.
