Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or equivalent as a "Certified Food Safety Manager" or obtain accreditation within first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager and guide HMS Associates.
• Manage daily labor and coach associates to meet productivity expectations.
• Provide leadership to promote the brand culture and customer-focused service.
• Contribute to achieving budgeted financial and operating results.
• Maintain department appearance, safety, sanitation, and compliance with policies.
• Ensure scheduling supports extraordinary customer service and efficient operations.
