Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer for US Marine Corps programs. You will bridge RF capabilities with defense requirements, support field-ready StreamCaster radios, and work with engineering and business development teams.

The role requires up to 50% travel for field tests and customer meetings, with a remote-working option depending on location. Security clearance and collaboration across stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing, or tactical comms systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Ability to obtain Government SECRET clearance within 15 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Architect and demonstrate radio network solutions for Marine Corps clients.
• Plan and execute field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering and Business Development to align technical work with strategic priorities.
• Prepare technical demos tailored to expeditionary and tactical networks.
• Engage with MARCORSYCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems, and naval warfare centers.
