Job summary

CAE USA Inc. in Arlington, TX seeks a Business Development Manager II to drive new business growth for Defense and Security training solutions.

You will identify opportunities, build customer relationships, and shape winning solutions with cross-functional teams. You will collaborate with capture, program, engineering, strategy, finance, contracts, and legal to craft growth strategies, business cases, and competitive positioning for priority portfolios, including U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 2–3 years of relevant defense or government contracts experience is preferred.
• Ability to translate customer missions into actionable business strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes business development plans for assigned portfolios.
• Identifies, evaluates, and qualifies new opportunities aligned with CAE's growth objectives.
• Establishes relationships with government customers, military leaders, and industry partners.
• Develops customer engagement plans, opportunity assessments, and action plans.
• Maintains understanding of customer missions, budgets, and timelines.
• Produces business cases, risk/competitor analysis, and pipeline updates.
• Supports capture and proposal activities with customer insights and competitive intelligence.
• Represents CAE at customer meetings, industry days, and conferences.
