Job summary

CAE USA is seeking a Business Development Manager II to support growth in the Defense and Security Military Training and Simulation business. You will identify and qualify opportunities, build relationships with government customers and partners, and coordinate with capture, program, engineering, and finance teams to shape differentiated solutions.

Ideal candidates have a background in defense market development, strong strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to navigate budgets,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, national security, international relations, or related field is required.
• Two to three years of relevant experience in business development, capture management, or defense industry is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to engage government customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes BD plans within assigned portfolios and keeps leadership informed of progress.
• Identifies, evaluates, and qualifies new opportunities aligned with CAE’s growth objectives.
• Maintains relationships with government customers, military leaders, and industry partners.
• Gathers competitive intelligence to position CAE effectively and informs proposal discussions.
• Supports capture and proposal activities with customer insight and solution context.
• Travel up to 25% to engage customers and attend industry events.
