Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for USSOCOM. You will bridge RF capabilities with SOF requirements, coordinate with engineering and business development teams, and help shape product roadmaps through field trials.

Role requires up to 50% travel to sites and laboratories; security clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months is expected. A STEM degree or equivalent defense-focused experience is required.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in a C5ISR domain with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, and tactical comms is a plus.
• Security clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and map needs to tactical radio solutions.
• Support planning, network configuration, and field trials or demonstrations.
• Collaborate with engineering and BD to align roadmaps with SOF priorities.
• Present technical demonstrations to stakeholders and partners.
