Raytheon in Portsmouth, RI, is seeking a mechanical engineer for the Hardware Engineering Organization. You will participate across the product lifecycle from initial concept design to rapid prototyping and testing, collaborating with systems, electrical, and manufacturing engineers to deliver robust, high‑reliability mechanical solutions.

Occasional CONUS travel is possible. The role requires a Master’s in STEM by start date and hands-on CAD experience (SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, CATIA or NX).

Formación

• Masters degree in STEM by start date.
• Experience with 3D CAD design and assemblies.
• Experience gained through coursework, research, or projects.
• Engineering coursework or competition teams acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Design, model, and document mechanical components and assemblies.
• Generate and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D drawings.
• Validate designs through prototyping, testing, and simulations.
• Support manufacturing and suppliers with assembly and integration.
• Participate in design reviews and trade studies.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to resolve issues.
