Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM disciplines by start date.
• Experience using parametric 3D CAD software to generate 3D models and drawings.
• Mechanical design experience from coursework, academic projects, or hands-on projects.
• Experience may be obtained through coursework, research, or on-the-job experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, and document mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and major end items per defense system requirements.
• Generate and maintain parametric 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D drawings.
• Validate design fit, form, and functionality via prototyping, testing, and simulations.
• Support factory operations, integration facilities, and external suppliers with manufacturing and assembly.
