Job summary

KBR is seeking highly motivated and talented students to join our Defense & Intel Internship Program for Summer 2027. Interns will gain hands-on experience on real-world projects supporting national security and advanced technology initiatives.

You will work with experienced professionals on engineering, software, cyber, data analytics, science, business, or mission operations projects, gaining exposure to technical and operational challenges while building valuable skills.

Qualifications

• Full-time rising junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing an engineering degree, ABET-accredited preferred.
• Major field of study: Systems and Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field.
• Must work well in both a team environment and independently.

Responsibilities

• Explore Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches for defense applications.
• Develop curriculum to train engineers in systems theory and MBSE.
• Gain a wide breadth of experience in SysML modeling to support MBSE education.
