Qualifications

• Full‑time rising junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a degree in Software Engineering or a related science or engineering field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB for data analysis, modeling, and basic algorithm development.
• Solid understanding of vector math, including dot products, cross products, coordinate transformations, and geometric projections.
• Strong problem‑solving ability with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a technical team environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis of radar, sensor, or similar system data, including preprocessing, noise removal, and feature extraction. Implement and evaluate computer vision or image‑processing algorithms, potentially involving object detection, tracking, or image enhancement (if background allows).
• Assist with simulation, modeling, or data‑driven studies related to aerospace or mechanical engineering concepts (e.g., kinematic relationships, sensor geometries).
• Develop, test, and validate algorithms that use vector math, including dot/cross products, coordinate frame transformations, and geometric projections.
