Job summary

KBR invites highly motivated students to join its Defense & Intel Internship Program for Summer 2027 in the United States. You will work on real projects supporting national security and advanced technology initiatives, gaining hands‑on experience and professional development.

Interns will work with seasoned engineers on cross‑functional teams, tackling engineering, software, data analytics, or mission operations tasks while developing essential skills for a future career in tech and defense

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, C++, or Java.
• Familiar with Excel and scientific coding practices.
• Must be a full‑time rising junior, senior or graduate student.

Responsibilities

• Learn details within a cross‑functional engineering team.
• Perform device fabrication tasks in a cleanroom environment.
• Characterize devices using analyzers, function generators and oscilloscopes.
• Develop and execute test scripts to streamline data collection and analysis.
• Document processes, collect data, and present results in the group.
• Learn device and circuit modeling techniques, including finite‑element software.
• Other duties as assigned.
