Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer for the US Air Force to bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements. You will work with Applications Engineering and Business Development to demonstrate interoperability of our StreamCaster radios across airborne and ground environments.

This role requires up to 50% travel, a US citizen with SECRET clearance, and the ability to engage with DoD stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant technical/defense experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing, or tactical comm systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USAF priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Plan configurations, field trials, and evaluations.
• Develop technical demonstrations for airborne and tactical edges.
• Assist with RFI/RFP responses and end-to-end architectures.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and customer meetings.
