Job summary

Persistent Systems is seeking an executive Vice President of Business Development for Air Force & Intelligence Community. Lead strategy, pipeline growth, and capture execution across USAF/USSF and IC accounts. Manage a team in Fort Collins, CO, and drive adoption of Wave Relay MANET and edge compute solutions.

Minimum 10+ years in defense business development or related fields; active clearance and ability to travel up to 60% are required. MBA or related master's is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years in defense/aerospace business development, capture management, or program management.
• Familiarity with RF, tactical IP networking, and MANET concepts.
• Knowledge of CJADC2, ABMS, and airborne/tactical sensor networks.
• Proven track record closing multi-million-dollar defense programs.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% domestically and obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Architect and execute capture and BD strategies across Air Force, Space Force, and IC programs.
• Lead and mentor the regional BD and sales team in Fort Collins, CO.
• Engage with operators and offices early to position Wave Relay MANET solutions.
• Build trusted DoD/IC relationships and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Develop winning technical, management, and pricing strategies for solicitations.
