PHEAA’s Loan Asset Management department seeks Default Prevention Representatives in Harrisburg, PA. This entry-level clerical wage role involves borrower contact to prevent Title IV delinquencies, skip tracing, outbound calls, and counseling students with external loan services. Location: 1200 North 7th Street, Harrisburg, PA.

Salary is $16.00/hour with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM shift. Duties include data entry and telephone payments for defaulted accounts, in a supportive, team-based

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply internal and external information systems (OneLINK, COMPASS, SLMA, ACS, Nelnet).
• Learn and apply Federal regulations and department procedures for effective customer service.
• Perform skip tracing using various Internet sites.
• Calculate delinquency days and required monthly payments.
• Communicate effectively in writing and orally.
• Work well in a team in a results‑oriented environment.
