Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co. is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to oversee field execution of deep foundation projects across North America. You will set high standards for safety, quality, schedule, and cost while developing crews and coordinating with field engineering.

The role requires extensive hands-on experience with drilled shafts, piles, soil mixing and other geotechnical solutions, plus strong communication and leadership to drive project success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in planning, scheduling and management of deep foundation/ground improvement.
• 5+ years of superintendent supervisory experience.
• Experience with foundation/ground improvement equipment.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft workers via the general foreman and foreman, managing productivity, safety, quality and schedule adherence for deep foundation projects.
• Liaison between field engineering and craft to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate and interface with other superintendents, subcontractors, and Kiewit staff to ensure smooth workflow.
• Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project management as appropriate.
• Assist in schedule planning, determining craft labor levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements.
• Ensure project rules and safety policies are followed and adhered to.
