Job summary

Shasta Beverages, Inc. is seeking a Deduction Customer Account Representative to review, validate, and resolve customer payment deductions in line with company policy and SOX standards.

This role collaborates closely with Collections, Order Entry, Sales, Plant Operations, and Logistics to ensure accurate AR reconciliation. Responsibilities include documenting deductions, triaging aged items, resolving disputes with internal teams, and ensuring audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, deduction management, or related financial operations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in APPX or similar ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze deductions by reviewing BOLs, invoices, portals, and notes; categorize as Authorized or Unauthorized; document and record valid deductions.
• Triage aged transactions by value and days aged; maintain follow-up cadence and resolve bottlenecks with internal teams.
• Collaborate with OE, COL, Sales, Plant Operations, and Logistics to resolve PO/invoice discrepancies and escalations.
• Record deduction notes; maintain SOPs; present deduction status during profile reviews.
• Utilize AR tools for reporting, notes, expenditures, and access shared drives for documentation.
• Ensure SOX compliant expense approvals based on dollar thresholds.
• Share dispute resolutions and best practices; participate in training and process improvements.
