Qualifications

• Three to five years of accounts receivable experience with emphasis on deduction resolution, problem-solving and collections.
• Knowledge of deduction processing, proof-of-performance requirements, CPG industry, and account reconciliation.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple software systems.
• Strong written communication and professional correspondence with customers and internal partners.

Responsibilities

• Verify customer deductions are set up accurately, including amounts and reference details.
• Research deductions to determine validity and next steps.
• Maintain deduction statuses, codes, dates, and supporting comments in the system.
• Gather invoices and performance records from customers and internal partners.
• Settle approved deductions with accurate allocations and GL assignments.
• Initiate collection correspondence and pursue repayment of unauthorized deductions.
