Carter Lumber in Indiana is seeking an Outside Sales Rep to sell our decking and outdoor living products to builders and subcontractors. You will manage the full sales cycle, present product features, and build lasting relationships on residential and commercial projects.

The role emphasizes field visits, take-offs, estimates, and timely order fulfillment, with a focus on customer service, profitability, and growth within our market. A positive attitude and strong communication are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years experience selling decking products (wood, composite, PVC, railings, outdoor living).
• Ability to cold call future customers and grow relationships with existing customers.
• Ability to read blueprints and do take-offs with knowledge of local building codes.
• Demonstrated ability to increase sales and profitability.
• Excellent communication skills with strong customer service.
• Decision making abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) knowledge.
