Carter Lumber Company in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a proactive Outside Sales Rep to grow our decking and outdoor living product lines. You will build relationships with builders and subcontractors, present product features, and manage each sale from initial contact to delivery.

The role requires at least 2 years of decking sales experience, the ability to read blueprints, and strong communication. You will perform take-offs, prepare estimates, ensure orders ship on time, and work to expand

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years' experience selling decking products.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret local building codes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Develops relationships with customers and subcontractors to determine needs and provide beneficial services.
• Attain and maintain the sales of all products, focused on outdoor living and decking.
• Gives presentations to builders and provides expert advice on product features and benefits.
• Do take offs and prepare estimates for these products and ensure they are ordered and shipped accurately and on time.
