Job summary

Hornblower Corp. is seeking a Deckhand to ensure guest comfort aboard our vessel, maintain cleanliness, and assist with docking and undocking. The role includes adhering to RESPECT service standards, participating in safety drills, and supporting crew in maintaining equipment and systems.

The position requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays onboard a Coast Guard-inspected passenger vessel.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain vessel appearance and cleanliness to ensure guest comfort and safety.
• Assist with docking, undocking and line handling.
• Support vessel equipment and systems including HVAC and engines.
• Sweep, mop and wash decks; gather trash and service restrooms.
• Stand watch and monitor navigational aids; communicate with crew.
