Truist Financial Corporation is seeking an experienced analytics professional to act as an individual contributor, guiding Decision Scientists and partnering with the Decision Science Manager to deliver data-driven insights across banking channels, segments, and products.

Qualifications

• Aptitude in quantitative skills, business acumen, and strong written/verbal communication.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 7+ years in Banking/Finance/Analytics or related fields.
• 4+ years in decision science/analytics project management with measurable results.
• Ability to engage multiple internal partners and drive business impact.
• Familiarity with DB2/Oracle, SAS/SQL, R/Python, and BI tools is useful.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Decision Scientists and act as a force multiplier across business models and initiatives.
• Lead analytics projects using quantitative methods and ML to optimize outcomes.
• Foster communication with LOB leaders and senior managers to build trust and align goals.
• Pursue revenue or efficiency gains through data-driven insights and analytics.
• Champion the use of tools to deliver timely, accurate, and repeatable solutions.
• Represent the group in forums and coordinate with partner analytics teams.
