Job summary

Truist is seeking a data science professional to perform sophisticated analytics, build predictive models, and provide actionable insights for business outcomes. You will communicate findings through visualizations and collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives and requirements, driving measurable risk-aware strategies across the organization.

Responsibilities include end-to-end solution design, data handling, and continuous learning of new techniques as Truist advances its analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and 0–4+ years of analytics experience.
• Strong foundation in statistics, probability theory, econometrics, time-series.
• Familiarity with linear algebra concepts for optimization.
• Data cleansing and preparation methodologies including regex and outlier treatment.
• Experience extracting data with SQL, Jquery, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced analytics from econometrics to ML and NLP in diverse environments.
• Create compelling data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Own end-to-end data science solution design and delivery with measurable impact.
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify objectives and scope requirements.
• Develop predictive analytics applications using Python, SAS, or R.
