Job summary

United Community is seeking an ATM & Card Operations Specialist to support debit/credit card programs and the ATM network. You will process cards, monitor ATM/ITM activity, and provide internal support while ensuring accurate, timely service.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years banking experience, an Associate’s degree, and strong Microsoft Word/Excel skills. This is a full‑time, on‑site role with evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high-quality customer service in banking or financial settings.
• Familiarity with debit card programs, ATM/ITM activity, and card controls is a plus.
• Ability to interpret policies and regulatory guidance accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in a professional office environment.

Responsibilities

• Process new and replacement debit cards and maintain existing cards.
• Provide internal support and answer Debit Card/ATM/ITM inquiries by phone or email.
• Monitor ATM/ITM status and coordinate with maintenance when needed.
• Log returned mail and identify cards for closure from reports.
• Resolve rejected orders and generate monthly reports as required.
• Assist with cross-training across department functions.
• Follow procedures and meet daily task deadlines.
• Support customers with instant issue cards and mobile wallet usage.
