Job summary

United Community Bank seeks an ATM & Card Operations Specialist to support debit card programs and the ATM network. You will process new and replacement debit cards, maintain existing cards, and provide internal support for card controls and mobile wallets.

Responsibilities include monitoring ATM/ITM activity, handling inquiries via email or phone, and ensuring accurate daily task completion with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Regulatory knowledge of banking regulations and bank policies.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in an office environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during single-person shift rotations.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to learn internal and external systems.

Responsibilities

• Process new and replacement debit card orders using multiple system applications.
• Maintain and manage existing debit card accounts and answer transaction questions.
• Provide internal customer support and respond to Debit Card/ATM/ITM inquiries.
• Review and correct rejected debit card orders and manage reports.
• Log and manage returned mail and identify cards to close.
• Monitor ATM/ITM status and coordinate technician service calls.
• Cross-train across department functions to ensure comprehensive support.
