Job summary

Cox Automotive in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Dealer Services Specialist II for a hybrid role serving both dealer and commercial clients. You will build relationships, provide consultative support, and coordinate with national sales and auction teams to drive client success.

The role emphasizes proactive communication, problem solving, and delivering exceptional customer service through multiple channels. Occasional travel within the market center may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; beyond HS can be additional certifications or degrees.
• 3 years of related field experience, or 5 years with alternate qualifications.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication is required.
• Proficiency with Salesforce, AS400, Workbench and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and nurture strong client relationships with proactive engagement and tailored solutions.
• Partner with outside sales teams to ensure a unified client service approach.
• Serve as primary contact for resolving client issues for accounts from simple to complex.
• Act as liaison between clients and internal departments to ensure issue resolution from start to finish.
• Serve as a sales agent for assigned accounts at a site location or market center.
• Engage dealers with consultative support to improve sales performance.
• Assist with customer care issues and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Coordinate sale vehicle run processes, monitor auctions, and maintain client communication.
• Educate clients on auction processes and upsells of related services.
• Demonstrate prioritization and professionalism in client relationships.
