Job summary

Yanmar Compact Equipment North America is seeking a Dealer Sales Administrator – Logistics to oversee the flow of products from the sales team to dealers and customers. You will coordinate shipments, manage inbound and outbound freight, and ensure timely delivery while aligning with production schedules and cross-border requirements.

The role requires 2–5 years in logistics or related fields, experience with 3PLs, ERP tools, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years in logistics, supply chain, or operations; customer-facing experience preferred.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain management, inbound and outbound logistics.
• Experience with 3PL providers and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency with logistics software and ERP tools.
• Strong understanding of supply chain, inventory and transportation logistics.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation.
• Strong written and verbal communication; organized, detail-focused, and customer service oriented.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality service and relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee logistics operations for imported and locally manufactured products and attachments.
• Collaborate with Sales Administration, Production, Sales and other departments for coordination.
• Align transportation plans with production schedules and 3PL warehouse operations.
• Coordinate with Sales Administration and dealers to schedule shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound freight, shipment scheduling, and delivery tracking.
• Handle shipping documentation and cross-border requirements with internal teams and brokers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, brokers, and partners.
• Identify and resolve shipment delays, transportation issues, and claims; escalate risks.
• Monitor freight costs and optimize transport methods while maintaining service levels.
• Develop, implement and maintain logistics KPIs; track and report activities to management.
• Lead initiatives to improve logistics processes and efficiency.
• Build expertise in export logistics to support customers outside North America.
• Develop expertise in EPA import-processing requirements.
