Job summary

Western Funding Inc is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive funded deals by partnering with auto dealer partners in the US, including Independent and Franchise dealers within your region. Based in Fresno, CA or willing to travel, you will identify, onboard, train, and manage dealer growth, while representing Western Funding's products and processes to accelerate funding and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• MS Office Suite knowledge (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive, Finance and Sales.
• Experience in Financial Services sector or car dealership.
• 1-2 years in a challenging sales role with a proven track record.
• Clear and effective presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques.
• Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
• Results orientation: able to get things done.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Present and communicate company products and services to all levels of management within Independent and Franchise dealerships live in person.
• Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts assigned to you.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals from telephone calls for Independent and Franchise dealers.
• Develop, maintain and grow current and potential dealer partners within Independent and Franchise dealer communities.
• Maintain constant and effective communication with dealer partners on current programs.
• Train dealers in Western Funding including proper documentation needed for fast funding of contracts.
